The man who makes miracles

This is a story about a man who was born with nothing, was left with even less along the way and, despite all odds, found success thanks to his own persistence and the help of a few good people who put their faith in him.

Once upon a time, there was a young boy who was born in a big city in the southeast region of a major continent. This part of the world was ravaged by ongoing wars, poverty, and government corruption. People here sought after only themselves and sparsely had time or energy for others. Yet the few relationships that were built under these circumstances were true and would last the tests of time.

The boy was born into a mixed family of both local and migrant parents. His migrant side came from a wealthy and abundant nation, rich with opportunities, yet for some reason, his family — based largely on the opinion of the father, who back then was considered the decision-maker of the family — decided to remain in the poorer nation.

The harmful repercussions of escapism

That, of course, meant the boy would struggle in his early years. He faced criticism and even racism in his early school years and found it difficult to make friends. He found it hard to make lasting connections, due to his family constantly traveling between the two countries, not able to decide where they wanted to settle. He found it difficult at home due to the constant turmoil between his parents, who fought constantly, with little regard for how that would impact their children’s…
