The next installment in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie franchise brings non-stop entertainment to its viewers, proving once and for all that, when done right, video game-based films truly can be a blast!

While the original Sonic Movie was quite well received, this one is sure to leave audiences with a smile of satisfaction. The film contains a great balance of action, drama and comedy, while making sure to give enough room for all of its characters to shine, both alien and human.
The movie of course focuses on the spikey hedgehog with a love for speed. This time there’s an emphasis on how, despite his incredible abilities, he has yet to understand what being a real hero truly means, putting innocents at risk with his reckless antics in his attempt to stop the bad guys.
Tom tries to tell his good friend to be more careful but it isn’t until Sonic has someone that he feels the need to protect that he truly understands the meaning behind those words.
