I believe we can keep going on and on down this rabbit hole and not get anywhere, as we both have our own points of view on the matter - you in regards to better representation of black people in media and I in the respect of creativity.

In the same respect, of course, it should be said (I didn't think it was even necessary but that was a mistake on my behalf) that black people are also free to write stories starring white protagonists or Asians or Vikings or whatever culture they see fit. Because that's what they want to write about.

But if you feel that they shouldn't, or that their stories should be heavily edited by people of the race that their story is about, then I can't change your mind. You have your opinions and I mine.
