Generally when it comes to IX I tend to take a “don’t touch it” type of stance in the opinion that it’s already as good as it’s going to get. All it needs is voice acting to add some emotion and increase player immersion.

But if they were to do anything with it, I would definitely go down the remake route since that would give players the chance to actively engage with the game. Guess time will tell!
