Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a dream come true for fans of the original

The second part of the Remake project continues the work of its predecessor and expands in ways no single-player game should ever consider possible.

When the original Final Fantasy VII was released in 1997 (almost 30 years now, wow!), people were left in awe by just how many things it could do. Yes, this was a role-playing game at its core, but you could also try your hand at snowboarding, racing, brawling, or shooting hoops if you felt like taking a breather.

Final Fantasy VII was considered revolutionary for all the different things it allowed you to do parallel to its main story and for keeping players entertained well after they were done with the plot. The hunt for main villain Sephiroth and the struggle against mega-corporation Shinra were the main events however they could easily be overshadowed by all the side activities, such as creating a gold chocobo to find one of the strongest materia the game has to offer.
