Dear (white) men: It’s time to take a good, hard look at ourselves…

The rise of feminism, the pitiful state of world, racism, even global warming, these are all issues that stem from the behaviour of your average cisgendered white male. And the fact that we’re now being put on the other side, forced to justify ourselves and answer for everything is making us extremely uncomfortable.

Sometimes it’s not a good thing to generalise matters by tainting an entire social group due to the actions of a few of its members. Yet, there can be no truer statement that the world wouldn’t be in this mess if it wasn’t for powerful white dudes who thought they could do anything they wanted.

And it’s not a current issue. It runs all the way throughout history with the first kings running wars for their own selfish desires, holding orgies (rape), killing hundreds of thousands of people and spreading plagues in the process. Yet they were even hailed as heroes (!) within some history books.

The butcher known as Alexander (the Great!) was an incredible tactician and a man who “united the east with the west”. In fact, North Macedonia and Greece have been arguing over which is his country of birth.
